It's a small room in a bar, not a club. Come early if you want to be close to the machines — and it's done by midnight, in time for wherever you're going next.
BTZ is a Milan-based producer and live performer working between acid techno, breakbeat and industrial.
Analogue synths and drum machines run through hardware sequencers. Samples and loops get arranged, filtered and taken apart while the room watches it happen. Nothing is pre-rendered.
The material comes out of rock as much as out of club music — acid lines with distortion on them, breakbeats that refuse the four-to-the-floor, industrial weight underneath.
